Editorial standards
How this site is written, sourced, dated and corrected. If we fall short of any of this, tell us and we will fix it.
How we source
Every claim about definitions, timelines or capabilities links to a primary source. Laboratory announcements are labelled as claims until they have been independently demonstrated. Where we cannot find a primary source for something widely repeated, we say that too.
How we date
Every page carries a visible last-updated date and a machine-readable one. This subject moves quickly and undated writing about it is worthless within a quarter. When we revise a page materially, the date changes and the change is noted.
How we correct
Mistakes are corrected on the page, with a dated note saying what was wrong. We do not quietly edit and move on. If you find an error, write to us.
Where we stand
AGI Made Clear is published by Creative Sauce Ltd, which sells artificial intelligence implementation to businesses. That is a commercial interest in the subject and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The editorial line here is independent of what we sell, and where we link to our own services we say plainly that they are ours.
Who writes it
Written and edited by Sarah Wood. Not generated and published unread. Where an artificial intelligence tool has been used in research or drafting, the responsibility for every claim on the page remains ours.
Artificial intelligence and this site
We use artificial intelligence tools in research and drafting, in the same way we use a search engine or a spellchecker. Nothing is published unread. Every factual claim is checked against a primary source by a person, and the responsibility for anything wrong on this site is ours, not a tool's.
